Our School is located in what was previously Sacred Heart Junior School which has been converted into a dedicated dance school boasting 3 studios, changing rooms, school office and dancewear shop - as well as a sewing room and scenery storage. 

The building is serviced by its own car park and placed within a school safety driving zone.

Miss Tina was honoured to take over Miss Fenn’s School of Dance when she retired after 40 years of success. Development and modernization was immediate, and the school soon outgrew it’s single studio location. So in 1995 Miss Tina purchased the ex-Sacred Heart Junior School and converted it into a dedicated school of dance.

In 1996 the move to Throstlenest Avenue brought Tina’s Dance Studios to its own premises, with Principal Miss Tina teaching in Studio 1, and Deputy Head Miss Stacey teaching in Studio 2. More recently Miss Lindsey has joined the teaching staff to deliver classes from Studio 3.

Tina’s Dance Studios has been awarded Recognised School status with the Council for Dance and Musical Theatre – publically declaring our sound business practice and teaching standards. Holding Licenciate teaching qualifications, we enter children into , and our Stage Shows have gained a reputation of being highly professional.
